Mediscan™️ is a portable IOT health screening device developed by Gense Technologies for early detection and management of some of the most prevalent chronic diseases in the world in the lung, liver and kidney. Suitable for settings in primary care, elderly centres, corporate wellness and more, Mediscan™️ can screen for diseases such as COPD, ILD, asthma, NAFLD, and CKD. Each test is non-invasive and takes less than 10 minutes, with real-time report generation.
The technology was developed by a team of PhDs and researchers in Hong Kong and clinically tested at the University of Hong Kong and Queen Mary Hospital. The findings were published in 19 journals, including Nature Scientific Reports, and resulted in nine patents. Mediscan has passed CE safety tests and is IEC60601 accredited as medical electrical equipment.
